Marking 123 Years of Excellence

Marking 123 Years of Excellence

On the 7th of February, the familiar green and white, the proud colours of St. Bridget’s Convent, enveloped the school, reminding all who entered its premises of its 123-year legacy and the ever-present spirit of growth and purity. The school community gathered in prayer for the Holy Mass, graciously celebrated by Rev. Fr. Prasad Harshana.

Following the Mass, the primary school prefects ceremoniously assumed their duties. Each prefect was proudly pinned with their badge of office. Filled with pride and purpose, the newly appointed board of prefects pledged their commitment to upholding the values of the school and leading with integrity. A key moment of the ceremony was the entrusting of the school flag by our Principal, Rev. Sr. Dilrukshika Silva to the newly appointed Head Girl.
In a similar vein, the House flags were presented to the four House Prefects by their respective House Mistresses.

As we witness these leaders step forward, they embody the strength and grace of St. Bridget of Ireland. May our community, inspired by her example, continue to thrive, gently and firmly upholding the enduring Good Shepherd values that bind our Bridgetine family in faith and harmony.
