A Celebration of Achievement

The Annual Prize Giving Ceremony of St. Bridget’s Convent Primary School was held on the 11th of September in an atmosphere of pride and celebration, honouring the dedication, perseverance and accomplishments of our vibrant young learners.

Rev. Sr. Dilrukshika Silva, Principal of the Primary School, presented the Annual Report for the year 2025, highlighting the notable academic successes, co-curricular achievements and key milestones that defined the preceding year.

The occasion was further distinguished by the presence of our Chief Guest, Mrs. Jayani Wickremanayake, a proud past Bridgetine who holds the unique distinction of having served as Head Prefect of both the Primary and Collegiate Schools of St. Bridget’s Convent.

Our young achievers from Grades 3, 4 and 5 took centre stage as they were recognised for their outstanding academic achievements and accomplishments in various spheres of school life.

Adding to the celebratory atmosphere was a series of performances by our talented students. Through dance, music and a variety of engaging presentations, they showcased their abilities, much to the delight of the audience.

The ceremony was a fitting tribute to the spirit of excellence nurtured at St. Bridget’s Convent, reminding us that true achievement is forged through determination, discipline and the courage to strive for one’s best.
